On day 2 of our trip to Spain, Connor and I hiked up Montgo, the big mountain that towers over Javea. We got a bit lost and ended up spending 6 hours on the mountain, most of it off the path in thick bush.
My friend Connor and I headed off to Spain on 6th June for a 2-week holiday, which would include travelling around the east and south, and meeting up with some friends from Belfast who now live out there.
As we prepared to board our flight to Alicante we bumped into an old acquaintance called Moondog, who both Connor and myself used to play football with. He and his mates were on a stag party heading to Benidorm.
The town of Bushmills, County Antrim, boasts the oldest licenced whiskey distillery in Ireland, and maybe the world. It is here that the world famous Bushmills Irish Whiskey is produced. Visitors can take a tour of the distillery and sample the whiskey for themselves.
