Hiking Montgo

On day 2 of our trip to Spain, Connor and I hiked up Montgo, the big mountain that towers over Javea. We got a bit lost and ended up spending 6 hours on the mountain, most of it off the path in thick bush.

Spain trip begins with Moondog and Benidorm

My friend Connor and I headed off to Spain on 6th June for a 2-week holiday, which would include travelling around the east and south, and meeting up with some friends from Belfast who now live out there.

As we prepared to board our flight to Alicante we bumped into an old acquaintance called Moondog, who both Connor and myself used to play football with. He and his mates were on a stag party heading to Benidorm.

Autumn Fair 2016 in Botanic Gardens

Aficionados of giant vegetables and bonsai trees are in for a real treat this weekend as Belfast’s annual Autumn Fair returns. Held in Botanic Gardens from 12.30 to 6pm on both Saturday and Sunday, the 2-day event showcases prize-winning local produce, from flowers and vegetables to jam and honey.
